Description

Zonalin and Alganol are modified zinc oxide eugenol cements manufactured by Kemdent. The material has a pH value 7-8 and combines low solubility and high compressive strength to produce an exceptionally durable material in the mouth.

Use as a:

  • Routine cavity linings under amalgam and silicate restorations.
  • Temporary filling which can be left for several weeks.
  • Pulp capping to protect pulp form thermal change and acid irritation of cements.
  • Temporary seal for medicament dressing.
